The following are a few helpful hints to successfully use this site.

1. After registering with this website, please review the Guide.  This will explain the how to use this site.

2. Manage your profile by logging onto this website.  After logging in, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen and then click  "Manage Profile".  Enter the required information and remember to keep your information current.  Now click "Update" and you are done!  You'll be glad you did when your online forms are pre-populated with the correct information.

3. How to Upload Documents  

A. Click the Browse button to find the desired file.
B. Select the file and open the file (the file path will appear in the box located left of the browse button).
C. Click on the upload button located to the right of the browse button. The uploaded document will appear below the box, browse, and upload buttons. 


 
It may take a few minutes to upload large documents, please be patient.

4. Use the navigation buttons on all online forms located at the bottom of the forms.  Please do not use the back button on your browser when completing an online form. 

5.    Get Adobe Reader free here.

6. Print out the Common Grant Application Example worksheet to help answer the required questions in the "Grant Application" online form.  This website will time-out after 20 minutes.  You are strongly urged not to write this online.  Instead, take some time to write it well offline first, then copy and paste it into the appropriate sections of the form. 

7.  Update your organization’s documents BEFORE submitting a grant application. These documents can be found under Applicant Resources – Organization Profile. When a grant application is submitted, the documents in the organization’s profile are permanently attached to the grant application.

8.  Give the Project Title a unique name or add a date to the name. If more than one project titles have the same name, it will be difficult to select the correct project when you are ready to request funding.
i.e. 2011 Tuition Scholarships NOT Tuition Scholarships.

9.  Request Funding after the grant application has been submitted. You are directed to this page when the grant application is submitted. Choose the Funder link you wish to request funding from and complete the form. The dollar amount requested is entered on this form. The Request Funds form can also be found under Applicant Resources – Request Funds.
